Praslin Airport handles domestic and regional flights, so arrivals are straightforward and quick. There is no immigration procedure for passengers arriving from elsewhere in the Seychelles. From touchdown, most passengers are through baggage claim and out of the terminal within 15 to 20 minutes. Your driver will be waiting outside as you exit.

Departing From PRI

Check-in at Praslin Airport closes one hour before departure. We recommend arriving at the airport at least one and a half hours before your scheduled flight to allow time for check-in, baggage drop and security without rushing. Your driver will be with you well ahead of that.

Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of only two places on earth where the legendary coco de mer palm grows in its natural state, Vallée de Mai is an ancient forest of extraordinary stillness and beauty. The enormous double-lobed nuts of the coco de mer are the largest seeds in the plant kingdom, and the forest also shelters the endemic Black Parrot, one of the rarest birds in the world. It is a short drive from the airport and an unmissable experience on any visit to Praslin.

Anse Lazio
Consistently ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the world, Anse Lazio is a sweeping arc of white sand framed by ancient takamaka trees and dramatic granite boulders at each end. The water is a deep, clear blue and the beach faces northwest, catching the afternoon light beautifully. It sits at the northern tip of the island, approximately 13 miles from the airport by road.
