Where your driver will meet you

Your chauffeur will meet you inside the terminal, in the public Arrivals Hall after customs. They will be holding a name sign. This is the standard meeting point for licensed transfer operators at CFU and is clearly signed in multiple languages.

Travel advice

Summer is peak season. Between June and September, plan for heavier airport and road congestion. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are especially busy due to international charters and ferry arrivals.

Approach roads around Kanoni and Garitsa Bay are narrow and prone to bottlenecks. Many island roads allow only one car width in parts, and jams are common in coastal villages during midday.

Corfu Town may impose road closures for religious or public festivals. These are usually announced locally with limited online notice.

The road alongside the runway has been under review for closure due to RESA safety works. When enforced, this affects the southern route into town.

Allow extra time on public holidays and island event days.
